Informatics Rugby Sevens and Sports Fiesta today

The Informatics Rugby Sevens tournament and Sports Fiesta will be held today at CR and FC Ground.

The Informatics Rugby Sevens which is an inter-higher education institute Rugby tournament will include teams representing twelve of some of the most prominent higher education institutes. The event which itself is a seven-side rugby tournament which is part of the informatics sports fiesta will be played in a carnival atmosphere combined with musical entertainment and exhilarating sportsmanship.

The institutes that will be participating for the Rugby Sevens are ACBT, Achievers, APIIT, BCAS, CINEC, ICBT Kandy, ICBT Colombo, IIT, SLIIT and SAITAM.

The Informatics Sports Fiesta which will include the participation of several higher education institutes will comprise of sports such as cricket, basket ball, table tennis and badminton which will be held following the conclusion of the Informatics Rugby Sevens during the course of the next two months.

The informatics Sports Fiesta and the Informatics Rugby Sevens which is a precursor to the 30th anniversary celebration of the Informatics group. The Informatics Rugby Sevens tournament and Sports Fiesta will be held as an annual event.
