Russel's goes to Jaffna

Russel's Tea launched its unblended Pure Ceylon Tea in Jaffna. S. K. Archuthapayan was appointed as the agent.

"Russel's Tea is now supplied to well-known supermarkets.

Russel's will celebrates its 25th anniversary next month and the company is looking forward to consolidate itself in the outdoor catering business", a spokesman for the company said.

"We have diversified the catering service and offer a full-fledged business option to our customers. We undertake orders from different strata of society without compromising quality which has become the hallmark of our service delivery," Russel's founder and owner, Russel Perera said.

"Russel's Tea is unblended pure BOP Fannings from Maskeliya Plantations, purchased through the tea auctions. There is a spacious packing division to meet the needs of the expanded tea division and we will position the tea business as a strategic business unit to add to our bottom line," he said.
