Development program at HNB Assurance

HNB Assurance recently initiated several human resources initiatives to develop an 'engaged employee'.

An 'engaged employee' is one who is enthusiastic about his work.

A number of activities on employee engagement was conducted by HNB Assurance in the recent past. The most recent activity commenced with the management capability development program for the management team of HNB Assurance. It was conducted by an international MBTI trainer from South Africa, Retha Alberts.

It was a comprehensive three-day program which covered management and leadership in today's business context. A workshop on performance management was also conducted for the Distribution Managers prior to commencing the year-end appraisal cycle. "HNB Assurance always values work-life balance of employees and promotes health and wellness. Good health and well-being is a key factor in continuously delivering business results by the employees," a spokesman for the company said.

A health camp was conducted by a professional medical service team to promote the preventive healthcare of employees.
