Photo, video competition for health professionals
The College of Medical Administrators of Sri Lanka has organised a
photography and video competition titled 'Healthcare in Sri Lanka: The
good, the bad and the history'.
The competition recognises the outstanding use of photography and
video to tell compelling stories of healthcare in Sri Lanka, and also
gives an opportunity to healthcare professional to showcase their
artistic talents.
If you are a healthcare worker and have captured an interesting,
unforgettable moment in your healthcare career, you could enter the
competition.
There are two categories: Category A - For all the medical
professionals in Sri Lanka including Medical Students; Category B - For
all the para-medical staff in healthcare institutions.
Themes:
For both photo and video entries the themes are as follows: Good
practices, Healthcare issues and problems, History of healthcare in Sri
Lanka.
Entry deadline:
Closing date for entries is 22nd February, 2013.
Prizes:
Attractive prizes including digital cameras will be awarded to the
top three entries of photo and video in each category.
Merit certificates will be awarded for 10 outstanding entries. Abans
are the main sponsors of the competition.
Dr. Nicholas Jayasekera, President of the CMASL said that an
exhibition and an award ceremony will be held in conjunction with the
Annual Scientific Sessions of the College of Medical Administrators in
March, 2013.
