Despite Jeewantha’s heroics: SSC fight-back

Despite Badureliya’s Saliya Saman Jeewantha’s stunning performance
(8/53) with a hat-trick, SSC are in the driving seat needing 180 runs
more with 10 wickets in hand against Badureliya SC in their Premier
League match played at the SSC yesterday.
Chasing 286 runs to win, SSC are 61 for no loss at stumps, with Test
openers Dimuth Karunaratne on 26 and Tharanga Paranavithana on 33 not
out at the crease.
SSC were bowled out for 102 in their first innings due to the
Jeewantha’s wreckage on the first day. Badureliya were also got out for
pathetic 119 runs and SSC were set 286 target.
