Three exhibitions to showcase the textile and garment sector in Sri
Lanka will be held from February 28 to March 2 at the Sri Lanka
Exhibition and Convention Centre. It is organised by CEMS Global USA, a
multinational exhibition organiser.
Textech Sri Lanka 2013 International Expo exhibition, an

along with concurrent exhibitions Dye+Chem Sri Lanka 2013 International
Expo, an international exhibition on dyes, fine and speciality chemicals
and Colombo International Yarn and Fabric Show 2013 are the three
concurrent exhibitions. These international trade exhibitions will help
further expand the fast growing Sri Lankan industrial sector and bring
in reputed international manufacturers and suppliers. The Dye+Chem Sri
Lanka 2013 targets the entire manufacturing sector of Sri Lanka, CEMS
Global said.
The textile and apparel industry of South Asia holds the key position
in the export sector. Keeping in mind the potential of this sector and
to further boost exports, CEMS Global has been organising the Textech
series of exhibitions for 14 years and brought this internationally
branded exhibition to Sri Lanka last year.
With the increasing competition in the world market, the industries
of Sri Lanka can expand their share in markets abroad and at the same
time attract more foreign investments in the high-potential garment and
textile industry, the organisers of the exhibition said. Exhibitors from
10 countries will participate and the exhibition will be open from 10 am
to6.30 pm.
