J L Morison appoints Director

Prof Ravindra Fernando

J. L. Morison Son and Jones (Ceylon) PLC has appointed Prof. Ravindra Fernando as Non-Executive and Independent Director to its Board.

He will also serve the company as a member of the Audit Committee and of the Remuneration Committee. He is the Senior Professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at the University of Colombo.

He has worked as a Senior Lecturer in the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy's and St. Thomas's Hospital, University of London and the University of Glasgow. He was the Founder Head, National Poisons Information Centre of the Colombo National Hospital and a member of the Cosmetics, Devices and Drugs Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Health. He was also a Home Office Pathologist (England and Wales) and a Crown Office Pathologist for Scotland.
