British scholars meet at Colombo Rowing Club
Have you studied at a university in the United Kingdom? Have you
followed a professional course in the United Kingdom? Then join fellow
British scholars for an enjoyable evening of free drinks, food, and live
music at the Colombo Rowing Club on March 1 from 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
The event is organised by the British Scholars Association of Sri
Lanka (BSASL) with Real Radio, the official radio partner.The BSASL was
inaugurated in 1985 under the aegis of the British Council with the High
Commissioner for the United Kingdom in Sri Lanka and the Director of the
British Council in Sri Lanka as ex-officio patrons. Current membership
exceeds six hundred with most members holding distinguished positions in
public and private sector organisations. With more than 330 members
actively participating at various BSASL events, there is ample
opportunity for socialising, career advancement, and professional
networking.
The event at the Rowing Club promises a relaxed and enjoyable setting
in which newcomers can get to know more about the BSASL and their fellow
British scholars.
