Nokia introduces Lumia WP8 devices
Nokia introduced the Lumia range powered by Windows Phone 8 recently.
The new range includes the Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 820 and Nokia
Lumia 620.
The Nokia Lumia WP8 devices are a combination of Microsoft and
Nokia's core assets and deliver new experiences through the integration
of service assets across location, search, entertainment, designs,
leading imaging capabilities, social and internet performance with
one-touch social network access, grouping of contacts, integrated
communication threads, Internet Explorer 9 and thousands of apps on the
Windows Phone Store.
Director, Smart Devices, IMEA (India, Middle East, Africa) at Nokia,
Vipul Mehrotra said, "We are focused on redefining the future of smart
devices and continue to invest towards delivering truly compelling
experiences to consumers and are working with partners across the board
to take the Lumia experience to consumers faster. The roll out of not
two, but three devices reflects our commitment to our consumers in Sri
Lanka."
"The models launched include the Nokia Lumia 920 that has the latest
advances in Nokia PureView imaging innovation. Using advanced floating
lens technology, its camera takes in more light without using flash,
making it possible to capture clear, bright pictures and video indoors
and at night," a spokesman for the company said.
