Kalumaali back on stage
Ruwanthie de Chickera's hugely popular, original play 'Kalumaali, A
Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups' which debuted to full houses in mid-September,
is back by popular demand.
This time it will be staged to raise funds for the Sri Lankadhara
Society Building fund.
The show will be a one off English language performance on Sunday,
April 7 at 7.30 pm at the Lionel Wendt Theatre.
The cast includes Kaushalya Fernando, Gihan de Chickera, Lakmini
Seneviratne, Miranga Ariyaratne and Juanita Beling.

A.M.L.K. Aththanayake (43) of KPA 15 B1, 1st Mawatha, Navagampura,
Ampara is suffering from a critical liver disease diagnosed by Dr.
Nalaka Gunawansa, Consultant Vascular Surgeon of General Hospital,
Colombo.
He needs long-term medical treatment and also needs section of a
liver for transplant.
His 12-year-old only son and wife appeal for a liver donation.

Josephian Walk 2013
Josephian Walk 2013 organised by the Old Girls' Association of
St.Joseph's Girls College, Colombo 14 will start on Friday, April 5 at 8
a.m., close to the Sugathadasa Stadium. A carnival will follow the Walk
is in aid of the School Development Society, organised by the Principal,
Rev.Sr.Mary Iranganie.
Dental workshop on April 5, 6
The Sri Lanka Dental Association in collaboration with Densu Ceramic
Dental Laboratory will hold a workshop for dental surgeons on 'Dental
CAD/CAM system', a new digital dental technology introduced for the
first time in Sri Lanka on April 5 and 6 from 9.00 am to 12.00 p.m. at
the Sri Lanka Dental Association auditorium.
The use of digital technology in dental laboratory for restorative
and prosthetic work is successfully carried out in India, China,
Pakistan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, UK, Germany, Switzerland and
the USA. |
