Gateway over 15 netball champs for the sixth consecutive year
Gateway College Colombo was unmatched in the Inter International
School Over 15 Girls Netball Championship that was organized by the
Colombo International School and was played at the Shalika Grounds
Narahenpita. Gateway also recorded the highest ever score of 31-0 during
their first round game against Royal Institute.
At the final, Gateway beat OKI 16-6. In the other group matches,
Gateway beat Alethea 20-0 and CIS Colombo 16-1. At the Semi Final,
Gateway Colombo beat Gateway Kandy 19-2. Gateway's Kalani De Silva was
named the Netball Queen of the tournament, Prisca Rathnasingham was
named the Best Defensive Player and Judith Fernando received the award
for being the Best Centre Court Player.
