Long lost twins look forward to meet each other

Reunion of twins, separated at birth and living in different corners of the earth! It sounds like something out of a movie! Although this can be treated as an old Hollywood cliché but in this case it may be true.

Anais Bordier, 25, a French fashion student living in London, initially saw Los Angeles-based Samantha Futerman, also 25, in a short film clip last December.

As her resemblance to her YouTube lookalike was striking Anais finally decided to get in touch with her American living image via Facebook.

The aspiring actress in Los Angeles had received a Facebook message with a shocking claim from a French woman living in London. The two, who had never met, looked “very really similar,” the message said. Could they be sisters, separated at birth?

“When I looked at her photos, I was completely blown away,” Samantha said. “It was like looking at myself, except it wasn’t me.”

The two did a little research and realized they had both been born on the same day in 1987, in South Korea, and adopted through different agencies shortly afterward. Anais was raised as an only child in a suburb of Paris. Samantha went to a New Jersey family and grew up with two older brothers.

Now the next step is to meet each other.

Long-Lost ‘Twins’

So they turned to crowd-sourcing fundraising website Kickstarter.com to fund getting together in person.

For that memorable meeting they started the online Kickstarter campaign to raise money as well as for a documentary film,Which wiil touch upon nature vs. nurture,adoption, sisterhood and the power of social media,” their website said.

“I have been given the chance to start a new journey in life,” Samantha says in a video for the crowd-sourcing, money-raising campaign. “One that includes my first living blood relative and potential identical match. This is our story. How it unfolds, I have no idea. But I can’t wait to find out.”

They’ve raised almost $35,000 from more than 800 backers who want to see the reunion become a reality. The cash will also pay for travel, the film and a DNA test to confirm their relation.

“What I am looking forward now the most is to be in one same place at the exact same time as soon as possible so as to build our future memories,” Anais wrote. “And it has already started.”

Everyone who had read the story of these long-lost twins’ reunion, hope this saga will have a fairytale ending!

Drunken man in rare stunt

Everyone who were witnessing this thought that it was some kind of a stunt by a daredevil stuntman.

But it was not so, for he was doing this due to his deep drunkenness.

A Chinese man found himself dangling nine metres (30ft) above the ground from high-tension cables after climbing up a utility pole.

The man moved along the cables for 15 minutes - unaware of the danger - while one firefighter climbed up the pole to persuade him to get down.

The power supply to the area had been cut off to prevent him from being electrocuted. The man continued to the middle of two poles on the cables, then loosened his hands and legs before dropping onto another layer of cables.

As shocked onlookers watched from below, he eventually fell onto a net set up by firefighters. He later told a reporter that he drank a lot in a bad mood.

Medical staff said the man sustained no injuries except the excessive alcohol in his body. The incident happened in downtown Linfen, in north China's Shanxi Province.

Since March 4 there have been 76,658 applications from the UK, and many have gone for more than one job.

The 18 finalists - who must be aged over 18 - will be announced on May 15 and will be interviewed in Oz, with the winners revealed on June 21.
