SLT Annual Report wins two Awards

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) won the award for the best-presented annual report under the 'Communication and Information Technology Sector' category and was the second runner-up in 'Overall Winner' category at the Best Presented Annual Report Awards 2011' organised by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA).

SAFA's recognises and rewards organisations in the region which have achieved excellence in presentation and disclosure of high quality, relevant, reliable and objective financial statements in accordance with the framework stipulated by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).

Group CEO, SLT, Lalith de Silva said, "This is a testimony to the company's excellence in reporting and our wholehearted commitment and dedication and strong sense of accountability to our stakeholders to present information in the most fair and transparent manner while maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance, in line with best global practices."
