Premium payment options at HNB Assurance

HNB Assurance (HNBA) now provides a range of premium payment options for both Life and General Insurance customers.

"Premiums can be easily paid at all HNB, Commercial Bank, Bank of Ceylon, Sampath Bank and National Savings Bank branches. Customers only need to complete the deposit slip to make their premium payments over the counter at any of these bank branches," said Managing Director, HNB Assurance, Manjula de Silva. "We have collaborated with HNB e-Banking and Sampath e-Banking where users can transfer money through internet banking facilities provided by these banks. Customers will soon have the opportunity to pay through HNB mobile banking and by using the ATM network of HNB," he said.

"HNB Assurance recently joined Dialog Telecom eZ cash as a way of paying premiums. Customers can make payments through mobile eZ Cash," said Head of Finance, HNB Assurance, Vipula Dharmapala.

A special credit card facility is available to all HNB Credit card holders, but this credit card payment is valid only for General Insurance premium payments.

Life and general customers can log on to the HNBA website and pay online through the payment portal using a credit card.

Efforts have been made to ensure that HNBA keeps up with the rapid changes taking place in IT on a global scale.

For customers who wish to pay in cash when their insurance advisor calls over at their residence or workplace, the process is more secure as the advisors are equipped with mobile printers that can print a receipt online.
