UTE launches Consul power conditioning products

United Tractor and Equipment (UTE) recently launched Consul power conditioning products that mainly include UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) systems.

Chairman, UTE, Priath Fernando officially introduced the Consul range of products at a launching ceremony held at Cinnamon Lakeside.

CEO, United Tractors and Equipment (UTE), Riyad Ismail said, "Our market research identified a dearth of solid customised power solution with value for money in the market. Powered by the latest 'digital high frequency IGBT PWM technology', the Consul Megaline range of UPS can fill this gap, especially since we will focus on industrial range products.

Businesses such as hotels, garment factories, hospitals, healthcare centres, banks, telecom industries and engineering consultants that depend on power critical operations and continuous power without interruptions will benefit from Consul Power conditioning products." The Consul UPS range is available from 1kVA to 600kVA.

Director, Consul India, N P Krishnan said, "The digital high frequency IGBT PWM technology ensures safe, reliable power to critical loads even with severe disturbances on incoming supply. Consul power conditioning products are recommended by original equipment manufacturers such as Wipro GE, Philips medical systems and Siemens India".

In addition to the UPS, Consul is the leading manufacturer of Power Stabilisers in India with over 30 years' expertise in that product.

Consul Stabiliser too will be available through UTE for Sri Lankan industries that need a steady power supply for safety and smooth operations.

Consul Products are manufactured by Consul Consolidated (Pvt) Ltd. It is an ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 certified company. The company's expertise is based on developing power solutions that meet the specific requirements of various industrial and commercial applications.

ESS, the engineering and fabrication arm of UTE which mainly undertakes turnkey projects will handle the marketing of the Consul range. ESS solutions include power generator installation, power plant synchronising and control systems, automatic power transfer switchgear, sewage and waste treatment.

Priath Fernando said, "For over six decades UTE has built a reputation for its engineering solutions by emphasising the integrity of our business practices, the quality of our products, and meeting the needs of our customers."
