A one-stop-shop for inbound tourist providers
Sancharaka Udawa 2013, an exhibition catering to all inbound tourism
operations in the country will be held for the third consecutive year at
the BMICH on June 14 and 15.With the boom in tourism, Sancharaka Udawa
will provide a one-stop-shop to all inbound tourist providers spanning
the length and breadth of the country.
The exhibition spanning two days, is organised by the Sri Lanka
Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO ) and Sri Lanka Tourism.
The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and the Sri Lanka Tourist
Development Authority have pledged their support for this event and many
other activities will be held and co-ordinated by Sri Lanka Tourism,
during this event.Sri Lanka Tourism has been supporting Sancharaka Udawa
from its inception.
The event caters to a wide array of 'less exposed' tourism service
providers and provides participants the only annual platform to showcase
their products, services and most importantly, gives each participant
the opportunity to create vital links and network among themselves to
bolster their products and services.
Breaking away from the tradition of hosting exclusively Sri Lankan
operations, this year Sancharaka Udawa will feature diverse service
providers from Sri Lanka and the region, giving the festival an
international flavour.
Bank representatives will be present to provide advise to individuals
and business entities hoping to set up their own service stream through
loans.
The banks will offer attractive interest rates. Chairman of the
Organising Committee of Sancharaka Udawa, Imran Hassan said that the
event will galvanise all middle and lower industry-related service
providers under one roof, giving them an opportunity to expand their
services and add more value. |
