Abans launches ultra HD TV
Abans, agents for LG Electronics in Sri Lanka, have introduced an
ultra High Definition television with a 84-inch screen.
"With 8.3 million pixels of ultra definition, it brings out four
times the resolution of Full HD, delivering the finest detail at any
viewing angle. 3D at home will really be like 3D at the cinema, in
quality and in scale," a spokesman for Abans said.
"The LG Ultra Definition (UD) will be the future of TV. At present
there are no UD broadcasts or content on TV. However, the LG UD 3840 X
2160p has a UD upscaling feature, which upgrades normal HD pictures to
UD quality," he said.
It is envisaged that UD broadcasts will become common throughout the
world soon.
The scale and picture quality of this giant screen TV is a direct
response by LG to growing consumer demands for larger screens with
higher resolution. LG has also incorporated its acclaimed Smart TV
platform, with the updated Magic Remote and Smart Home for easier
content search and sharp images. |
