Association (FUTA) had announced that they would support the strike and

Yes, definitely. This amounts to an indictment of
the Opposition. That is what I say. When you say an indictment, it is
serious. When the main Opposition UNP was in power, it didn’t do
anything to solve the power crisis in the country. In fact, steps were
not taken but they turned a blind eye to it.
