Big Lady on cruise with Wedding Sam
Retired Big Lady and Wedding Sam had a cruise in Italy. Despite
holidaying in Europe, the Big Lady's focus was on politics back home.
"Why do the masses still rally round the Rajapaksas?" she asked. "That's
what puzzles me. Perhaps you would have achieved likewise, had you
served the masses during your 11-year regime," Wedding Sam said, much to
Big Lady's discomfiture.
The common target among Bell Boys
Lull-Kanth has become the common target among the Bell Boys after his
failure to attract crowds for Tuesday's general strike. Till-Van and
Anura Prince, who had been furious over Lull-Kanth openly admitting
their 1988/89 terror, made the best use of the failure in the general
strike to attack the trade union leader of the Bell Boys.
My-three silences Ra-Blue
Ra-Blue, who is generally an 'obedient hubby', appeared to have lost
his cool when he heard that his lecturer better half had reported to
work on the day the joint Opposition called a general strike. Before he
could say a word or two, My-three silenced him with her usual gender
theory. "That is none of your business. As an individual I have the
right to do what I please," she said. Ra-Blue remained mum, knowing
My-three's true nature.
Conspiracy against Lull-Kanth
Till-Van and Anura-Prince had met Soo-me, the One-sa at a secret
meeting. The trio felt that Lull-Kanth's open acknowledgement of the
Bell Boys 1988/89 terror would send them behind bars. "He could go scot
free but Anura and I will have to face the consequences as we were
actively involved," Till-Van had told Soo-me. |
