National Junior
Athletic Meet which was held from May 16 to 19 at Mahinda
Rajapaksa Stadium, Diyagama, Homagama was a great success.
Bank of Ceylon sponsored the event and Bank of Ceylon
General Manager D.M. Gunasekera was the chief guest. (On
left): The Most Outstanding Boys’ Athlete in the Under-23
Age Group was D.M. Malintha Dissanayake of Sri Lanka Army
and Most Outstanding Girls’ Athlete in the under-23 age
category was W.P.E.R. Dulakshi of Sri Lanka Air Force. Here
