ANC to hold Malaysian Education Fair 2013

The Malaysian Education Fair 2013, will be held on August 4 at Cinnamon Lakeside.

Conducted for the third time, the fair is organised by the University Direct Placement division of American National College (ANC) and will host representatives from eight top universities and colleges in Malaysia. The participating universities include INTI International University, Taylor's University, SEGi University, International Medical University (IMU), Nilai University, KBU International College, Curtin University Sarawak and Swinburne University of Technology.

A group of experienced professional including Senior Student Recruitment Officer, INTI International University, Liu Yang, Manager, Marketing Department of Nilai University, Ms. Jess Lee, Manager, Marketing and Recruitment Team of Swinburne University, Ms. Caren Wong, Manager, International Development and Marketing, Taylor's University, Hoh Lee, Marketing Executive, KBU International College, Ms. Kylie Tang, Senior Executive, International Marketing, SEGi University, Tariq Zuhair and Senior Student Recruitment Officer, Curtin University, Nicholas Lau will be at hand to answer all inquiries.

Through the Malaysian Education Fair students who have sat their Ordinary Level or Advanced Level examinations and wish to study abroad will get the opportunity to meet representatives, from these universities and colleges.

"Malaysia has an international student population of more than 50,000. With their goal of becoming a developed nation by 2020, the living standards, education facilities and other requisites of the country are at a comparable level to that of developed nations," a spokesman for ANC said.

"Malaysia is also a country without discrimination and cultural barriers and students can gain an excellent education with top facilities at a lower cost (1/3 or even 1/4) compared to other leading study destination such as USA, UK and Australia," he said.

"Another advantage is that Malaysia is close to Sri Lanka, thus making travel much easier and affordable for students," the spokesman said.

Parents, students and educators participating in the Education Fair can obtain information regarding education, programs, tuition fees, accommodation, living facilities and scholarship and financial aid opportunities given to students based on academic merit.

The Malaysian universities and colleges are affiliated to some of the top universities and colleges of UK, USA and Australia such as University of Sunderland, University of Greenwich, Sheffield Hallam University, Nottingham Trent University, Anglia Ruskin University, University of the West of England, Oxford Brookes University and University of Hertfordshire of UK, University of Wollongong of Australia and Upper Iowa University and Northwood University of USA.
