Intercultural exchange program

Future Citizen Sri Lanka will launch an intercultural exchange program and website at the Tower Hall, Maradana at 2.00 pm today.

The program includes providing study materials and free seminars annually for 14,000 O/L students.

Awarding 10 Most Distinguished Service Academic Prizes and 10 Most Distinguished Service Peace Prizes annually are among the other events.

The organisation claims to be the first intercultural exchange program to be launched in the country to exchange students between the North and East, and the South, annually.

It is a non-profit organisation with an annual donation of Rs. 12,000,000 (US$ 100,000) by the Chairman, V. Thevasenathipathy. Former SLFP Organiser for Colombo East, Ratna Gamage is the chief organiser.
