Lumbini enter pre-quarter-finals

Lumbini Vidyalaya, Colombo has already booked a berth in the
pre-quarter finals of the Inter-School Under-17 Division One cricket
tournament.
They beat Bandaranayake Vidyalaya, Gampah by ten wickets played at
Colts Grounds and Visitors batting first collapsed for 72 runs with
Tharushan Iddamalgoda claiming 6 for 10 and in reply they scored 76 for
no loss with Vimukthi Ellegoda unbeaten on 41 runs.
In their second game at the same venue against Sandalankawa Central
they beat them by nine wickets. Visitors batting first were all out for
a paltry 63 runs and Homesters replied with 67 for 1. In another game
St. Sylvester' vs Lumbini, they went down on Parabola System due to bad
light Sylvestians batting first scored 186 for 8 and Lumbini replied
with 118 for 9 with H.A. Perera taking 4 for 15.
Bandaranayake Vidyalaya: 72 (V. Sriyananda 20, Tarushan
Iddamalgoda 6 for 10).
Lumbini Vidyalaya: Vimukthi Ellegoda 41 not out.
Sandalankawa Central: 63 (Ravindu Pushpika 3 for 12, Tarushan
Iddamalgoda 3 for 1).
Lumbini Vidyalaya: 67 for 1 (Mohomed Akram 22 not out,
