'Logos Hope' back in Colombo Port

'Logos Hope', world's largest floating book fair is back in Colombo.

The ship will be open to the public from August 30 to allow visitors to purchase books and meet the crew members. The public will have a selection of over 5,000 titles to choose from including science, sports, hobbies, family life, children's titles, academic texts, dictionaries, atlases and more.

The book fair is something the whole family can enjoy and visitors will be taken through a short movie and an interactive display.

The ship's 400 odd crew members are volunteers from over 50 countries.

'Logos Hope' will be docked in the Port of Colombo from August 30 - September 22. The opening hours are: From August 30 to September 12 - Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and Monday 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

From September 13 to 21 everyday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 p.m.

Admission for adults Rs. 100. Children under 12 free, but to be accompanied by an adult.
