Cambrians win by five runs

Prince of Wales College beat G.B. Senanayake College, Ekala by a narrow margin of five runs in their Inter-School Under-15 Division Three tournament cricket match played at Ja-Ela.

Cambrians taking the first lease were all out for 149 runs and with Danudara Silva claiming 3 for 16 and in reply G.B. Senanayake College were all out for 144 runs with Danudara Silva scoring 75 runs. Prince of Wales: 149 (Sachin Fernando 20, Navin Fernando 32, Hasaru Nimesh 25, Bulitha Weerasinghe 21, Rukshan Vishmika 2 for 32, Danudara Silva 3 for 16, Ravindu Jeevantha 2 for 27). G.B. Senanayaka College: 144 (Danudara Silva 75, Hasaru Nimesh 2 for 44, Anjana Subash 2 for 23).
