Carmart launches Peugeot 208

Carmart, the sole distributor for Peugeot in Sri Lanka launched the new 208, the latest model in the popular two series. “When creating a vehicle appealing to today's discerning customers, with ever changing expectations, simple renewal is no longer enough.

Therefore, from the outset, the 208 project adopted the most ambitious specification overhaul ever undertaken by Peugeot to create a vehicle which marks a true generation leap”, a company spokesman said.

“The 208 gives form to and refines the new aesthetic codes of the Marque. The ‘floating’ grille, light signatures, ‘boomerang’ rear lamps – each detail is designed in complete coherence with the general volume, structured by a 'spine' the impression of which is even visible on the roof,” he said.
