BoC benefits for debit card holders

The Bank of Ceylon (BoC)offers an opportunity for its debit card holders to get their shopping bill wiped off up to a maximum of Rs. 20,000 a day. Draws will be held daily till the end of December 2013 and five lucky BoC debit card holders will get their shopping bills wiped off.

Each winner will be notified through an SMS and the bill value will be credited to their accounts with the Bank of Ceylon. BoC debit card holders increase their chances of winning by making multiple payments through their debit cards during the festive season anywhere in the country or abroad. The debit card transactions which take place internationally are also eligible for daily draws.

"Card holders can make payment through debit cards at over 13,000 outlets islandwide and at over 22 million outlets worldwide," a bank spokesman said.
