We have some stories in our folk tales page which tell us what befalls a person when he is too greedy. The stories have morals which tell us about what happens when the animals became greedy. Always learn to control your greed because then it will help you in life.

We also have some news about the Nelu flower which is blooming in abundance in the wilds of the Horton Plains and its environs and is said to be a sight to behold. If you have the opportunity try to visit these areas and see for yourself the beauty of the blooms which is a- once- in- twelve years occurrence - which is rare indeed.
