Dilshan Munaweera hits a career best List 'A' century

Explosive opening batsman Dilshan Munaweera's blazing century guided Bloomfield to a huge 124-run victory against Moors Sports Club in a Group 'B' Premier Limited Over match played at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo yesterday.

Sri Lanka Twenty20 capped right hander struck 18 fours and three sixes putting up a 187-run partnership for the opening wicket with Primosh Perera, who scored a sedate 64 off 113. It was Munaweera's career best List 'A' innings as Bloomfield made a fighting 282-5 batting first. Moors were bowled out for 158 as pacemen Imran Khan and Nuwan Pradeep shared five wickets while off spinner Randiv took two wickets.

Bloomfield: 282-5 in 50 overs (Dilshan Munaweera 142, Primosh Perera 64, Dilhan Cooray 24 n.o, Madawa Warnapura 22, Nadeera Nawala 14)
