Swan Island together with The Kingsbury present you NYE 2013, the biggest international DJ night on December 31 at the Kingsbury poolside from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

"This is going to be the biggest international DJ show of the year and our DJ lineup is Duo Diamonds, DJ Vanilla, Global Deejays and DJ Vibu. All these DJs are popular in almost every top music chart in the globe and we hope this event is going to be a once in a lifetime experience," talking to the Sunday Observer, the official print media partner of the event, event Manager, Swan Island, Maya Wijenayake queried.

"Are you ready to drink black cocktails this 31st night? And ladies what are your plans? For this 31st night celebration Kingsbury has the best table deals in the town and private VIP areas where couple of tables are up for grabs."


DJ Vanilla

"There are two separate sections for VIP and general audience and it depends on the value of the ticket. A VIP ticket would cost Rs.15,000 and a general ticket is Rs.10,000. If you purchase 10 general tickets or VIP tickets you'll be entitle for grand table deals we are sure that this is going to be the best table deal in town for 31st night celebrations," Maya said.

The key sponsor of the event is Himani Wijethunga and the rest of the sponsors are Mobitel, Sri Lankan airlines, the Sunday Observer, Kiss FM,CSN, Fashion TV, HNB and Kelly Felder.

"This is the first international DJ show that the Kingsbury is hosting and they are trying their best to make it the best show that any Sri Lankan has ever experienced. Very few tickets are available at the Kingsbury and Kelly Felder store in Town Hall.

If you purchase tickets from the Kingsbury at the special desk, you'll get a Rs.2000 deduction for every purchase. Therefore hurry up and join with us for the grand event with fabulous music and deals," said Maya.

Duo Diamonds are official partners of Fashion TV and A3 Network, headliners of fashion shows and international music festivals, playmates of XXL FHM and one of the most popular and actively performing singing female DJ duets.

Renown for her smooth vocal house licks, sexy up-tempo R'n'B and funky electro spins, she embraces the dance floors appetite for tracks, building up beats week with residencies and guest appearances throughout Australia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, China, Indonesia and India.

After conquerig the club scene in Australia, DJ Vanilla spread her winds to become an international DJ in 2011. Her talent was noticed and she was scouted for an exclusive residency at Dubai's number one hot spot, Barasti Beach Bar as a 'Barasti Beach Angel'.

Recently DJ Vanilla was selected for an exclusive residency in Shenyang China where she performed at the cities newest hot spot 'Hot Town Dance Club'. She is now based in Dubai performing across UAE.

Global Deejays

Global Deejays is an Australian pumping tech house DJ team composed of DJ Taylor (Konrad Schreyvogl) and FLOW (Florian Schreyvogl). Their first three singles were big hits in Europe.

In 2005 the Global Deejays won the Russian MTV Energy Award and the Polish ESKA Award.

January 26, 2009 saw the remixed version of the group's Everybody's Free (To Feel Good) debut on the Australian ARIA Charts at number 33. This popularity was the result of the track featuring in television commercials for the Australian version of So you think you can dance that summer.

April 2010 the Global Deejays release "My Friend" with the vocal talents of Danish singer Ida Corr.

April 2011 the Global Deejays' release "Bring It Back" reach #8 in the official US Billboard Dance chart. The track features Niels Van Gogh, and the vocals of house diva, Terri B! aka Terri Bjerre. January 2012 saw the Global Deejays' single "Hardcore Vibes" peak at #46 on the French Top 100.
