Munchee wins Gold at NCE awards

Ceylon Biscuits Limited (CBL) won a Gold award for 'Most Outstanding Exporter of the Year' in the Large category, Food and Beverages sub sector, for the fourth consecutive time at the National Chamber of Exporters (NCE) annual award ceremony at the Hilton recently.

Group Director - Finance, Nilam Jayasinghe and Assistant Export Manager Priyantha Bandara accepted the award on behalf of CBL. The NCE Awards highlight positive value generation and contribution towards the local economy.

"The judges did not just look at exceptional export performance but also at market and product development, value addition, effective management of marketing and capital, brand marketing and innovation," an NCE spokesman said.
