Dhamma sermons in English
The third in a series of Dhamma sermons in English, organised by the
Dehiwala-Mt. Lavinia YMBA, will be delivered by Ven. Medawachchiya
Dhammajothi Thera, Professor of the Pali and Buddhist Unit of the
University of Colombo on the theme 'Buddhist Doctrine of Causavity' on
January 11 from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm at the YMBA Main Hall.
400 Ratnavali Gampaha students qualify for university
Four hundred students of Ratnavali Vidyalaya, Gampaha who sat the GCE
Advanced Level examination in 2012 have qualified to enter university,
Principal H.A.M. Jayawardane said.
Out of the 400 students, 47 have qualified to enter the Medical
Faculty, three for Dental Surgery, 14 for Engineering, 153 for Biology
and Physics, 19 for Law, 90 for Commerce and Management and 74 for the
Arts Faculty. |
