Havelocks-Hambantota Sharks game not played

Postponed Dialog 'A' Division League rugby match between Havelocks Sports Club and Hambantota Sharks, which was scheduled to be played at Royal College Sports Complex, Reid Avenue yesterday, did not come off.

According to the manager of the Hambantota Sharks, PDN Kaluarachchi, the Hambantota Sharks players were given leave for the Christmas vacation and were not ready for this match and they hope to play this match after the completion of the first round matches.

This match between Havelocks Sports Club and Hambantota Sharks was to be played at Havelock Park under floodlights in mid-November as the curtain raiser of the tournament could not be played due to faulty lighting system.
