Independence Day in Kegalle

The Public Administration and Home Affairs Ministry has made arrangements to mark the 66th National Independence Day of Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, National Independence Day will be held on February, 4 in Kegalle on a grand scale under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs W.D.J. Seneviratne visited the proposed venue of the ceremony and instructed top officials of his ministry to make arrangements to hold the ceremony including our traditional cultural events that symbolise the glory of forefathers.
