Seeing is believing, Mr Rapp: FLASHBACK: At a time the US Ambassador for Global Criminal Justice Stephen Rapp seems to be misled by LTTE sympathisers and levels war crime charges on Sri Lanka, people in Buttala will mark the sixth death anniversary of 27 civilians who had been massacred by Tiger terrorists. On January 16, 2008, a roadside bomb planted by the LTTE, the world’s most ruthless terrorist outfit targeted a passenger bus and killed 27 civilians including three schoolchildren and injuring 67 others. After the bus was hit by a powerful claymore mine, the terrorists shot at the passengers who had tried to flee. If Rapp could speak to the relatives of those victims, he could ascertain as to who had committed war crimes. Here the funeral of the victims of LTTE terror.
