Seylan Bank bags Silver award

Seylan Bank was presented the Silver award at the inaugural 'Peoples Development Awards' conducted by the Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development (SLITAD), at the Water's Edge recently.

The competing organisations were evaluated under core industrial strategies - business, learning and development, people management, leadership and management, management effectiveness, recognition and rewards, involvement and empowerment, learning and development, performance measurement and continuous improvement.

The SLITAD embarked on this task to recognise and reward organisations with best practices and personnel to recognise their efforts and achievements in people development.Seylan Bank was awarded for its hard work to ensure that people development is a strategic priority in its business success."People development is as important an area as brand and image building.
