Nominations for two PC polls

Nominations to elect members to the Provincial Councils of the Western and Southern Provinces, which have been dissolved by notifications published in Gazettes No. 1844/75 and 1844/76 dated January 12, will be received at the nomination centres at auditoriums of the District Secretariats from January 30 and end at 12.00 noon on February 6, a media release from the Elections Secretariat said.

Affidavit bears out Mangala's gay activities

She vehemently protested to her husband saying that it is useless to live on money earned in such a manner. Mangala had wanted her husband to borrow money as and when required. The Rs. 15,000 thus borrowed from a relative was settled by Mangala himself. Her husband had said that since December the MP had changed. He had attributed this change to one Sameera getting close to Mangala.
