CM keen on facelift for Puttalam

"We always treat the two districts of the North Western Provinces, Kurunegala and Puttalam, alike, but the Puttalam district lags far behind Kurunegala. Therefore, it is my first priority to elevate it to the level of Kurunegala", pledged Chief Minister of Wayamba, Dayasiri Jayasekera. He said this during the foundation laying ceremony for a platform in the out-patient department of the Puttalam Base Hospital recently.

He said, "The President has instructed us to give priority to enhance the standard of education and health sectors in the province. To materialise the visions of the President, we have propelled the development activities in the North Western Province.
