CSE stall draws large crowds at EDEX Expo

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) saw a large number of registrations for their educational workshops at the EDEX Expo Education and Career fair, with over 800 people registering for investor education programs, conducted by the education arm of the CSE.

Over 2,000 people visited the stall to gather information about the investment opportunities available in the capital market. CSE officials elucidated the process of investing in the stock market through presentations which featured a simplified and straightforward explanation of the functioning of the capital market. Many investors also visited the stall to register for advanced workshops and discuss future investment plans.

The CSE conducts a number of investor education programs, for potential investors, before they enter the investment landscape.
