Free travel passes for journalists

Free passes for journalists of the Nuwara Eliya district, to travel within the district in private buses will be issued soon, said the Minister for Private Transport.

The Minister was speaking at the Annual General Meeting of the Journalists Association of the Nuwara-Eliya district at the District Secretariat under the patronage of the President of the Journalists Association of the Nuwara-Eliya district Douglas Nanayakkara. Free passes for journalists to travel in private buses within the districts they reside have already been issued, in several districts.
