ComBank promotes Personal Loans at EDEX and Wedding Fair

The stall of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon drew thousands of visitors at two popular fairs held recently in Colombo, the EDEX Education Fair 2014 and the Wedding Fair 2014.

Some of the visitors to the Commercial Bank stalls at EDEX 2014 and the Wedding Fair.

The bank promoted its education loan scheme under Personal Loans at EDEX to support the aspirations of Sri Lankans seeking professional or higher education qualifications.

Students preparing for professional examinations or parents or guardians of such students and parents of students planning to enter local or foreign universities are eligible to apply for loans under the scheme.

The Bank offers guidance and advice before and during the repayment period.

At the Wedding Fair, where providers of all wedding related services met under one roof to talk to prospective brides and grooms and their families, the bank promoted personal loans.

The stall received many visitors who wanted to make their dream wedding a reality, bank sources said.

The stall at the Wedding Fair also offered information on personal loans, online banking and e-banking services.
