A veteran in the field of artistic photography and an avid hobbyist
photographer, Chandrasena Perera has been awarded the exclusive
"Excellence FIAP distinction the EFIAP. He is the second Sri Lankan to
be awarded this distinction.
A diligent photographer for over 40 years he has submitted
photographic work each with brilliant technique to all corners of the
globe resulting in numerous acceptances and awards at photographic
salons under the patronage of the world body of photography - Federation
International de l'Art Photographique.!
The EFIAP distinction is awarded to only those that have held the
AFIAP for a period of time and who have taken part successfully in a
minimum of 30 international salons held in at least 20
countries.Chandrasena Perera has passed the minimum stipulated
requirement.
Apart from his photographic artistry Chandrasena Perera wrote the
scripts for two popular Sinhala films Biththi Hathara and Thuththiri
Mal. At the OCIC Awards in 1982 he received an award for his script for
the Best short film Dayabara Daruvek. His creativity is also evident in
his short story collection Siththara Ha Santhuvaraya. |
