N' Eliya gears for April holidays

Nuwara Eliya Mayor Mahinda Kumara Dodambage and his councillors have set the pace for the forthcoming April Nuwara Eliya Seasonal festivities for the benefit of Holiday crowds who would flock into this Garden city of Eden. A conference convened by the council with various social and sports organisations was held at the council chambers to draw up plans and program for the forthcoming April season here.

It was decided that the entire city limits should be given a complete facelift advising the shop keepers and households to clean and paint the premises, to keep the entire city limits clean and tidy, environments.

Another conference will be held to draw up the final programs in the course of beginning of March.
