36th Observer - Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of The Year 2014:

Randev and Nimesh stay on top

Randev Pathirana of Royal College, Colombo and Nimesh Gunasinghe of St.Anthony’s College, Katugasthota maintained the top two positions in the ‘platinum’ category for schools playing in the division one and Trinity’s Raveen Sayer was placed third at the end of count number 3 in then Sunday Observer/Mobitel Most popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The year contest. In division two, the ‘gold ‘segment, Tharaka Dananjaya of Carey College topped the list with a count of 3104 votes pushing Lasith Lakshan of St.Thomas’ College, Matara to the second spot with 2997 votes.

Dilshan Kanchana a Sri Lanka under 17 schools representative from Devapathiraja College, Ratgama was placed first in the ‘silver’ category for division 3 schools ousting last week’s winner Saaji Zarook of Vidyalaoka MV, Galle in to the second slot.
