Ranweli Abhiman

Education Exhibition 2014:

‘Ranweli Abhiman’ an annual exhibition of the Gampaha Ratnaveli Girls School was held recently to promote the hidden and inborn talents of its students mainly in respect of creation, innovation and presentation.

This year's exhibition depicted the knowledge, wisdom and experience gathered by the students in different age groups under vivid subjects.

The exhibition was held under the patronage of Principal Col. Mrs. H.A. Jayawardena from March 4-8 and was attended by Education Minister Bandula Gunewardene, Higher Education Minister S.B. Dissanayake, Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena Environment and Renewable Energy Minister Susil Premajayantha and Deputy Minister Pandu Bandaranaike.

In the picture, the special invitees inspect one of the exhibits - an environment-friendly motor vehicle run by solar energy, designed by the school's Science and Technology department.
