Bishop’s College – U.19 cricket champs
Bishop’s College emerged champions in the recently concluded Zonal
Cricket of Under 19 women’s cricket, the finals of which Tournament were
held at Sri Parakramabahu Vidyalaya. Cricket was introduced at Bishop’s
College in 2013.
Within a year, the team has done well under their coach Mr. Manoj. L.
K. Millawithanachchi, to win this year’s U.19 Zonal Cricket
Tournament.Captained by Mandani Tennakoon, the team beat both Lumbini
Vidyalaya and Gothami Vidyalaya who were last year’s Divisional and
Zonal Champions respectively.
