Moreton C.C. to play T 20 Games April 8 to 19

T20 matches... The Moreton Cricket Club from Brisbane, Australia comprising four separate teams will arrive in Sri Lanka to play a series of limited over and Twenty20 games from April 8 to 19 in Colombo, Kandy, Kalutara and Galle.

The Moreton Cricket Club junior team will open their tour with a 50 over match against the CCC at Maitland Crescent while the Taverners will take on the NCC at Maitland Place and their Colts team will play their first game at Thurstan College ground. Meanwhile the Moreton Cricket Club seniors will come out for the first time with a 40 over game at the P. Sara Stadium in Colombo on April 9. The visitors will then travel to Kandy to play a 50 over game and two Twenty20 fixtures on April 11 and 12 at the Asgiriya Stadium and Pallekele International Stadium. The Moreton Cricket Club will then tour Kalutara for a 50 over game at Ambalangoda and will also participate in a special batting and bowling clinic on April 15 before they move to Galle for a 50 over game at the Surrey Cricket ground.

The visitors will conclude their tour of Sri Lanka with another 50 over game at the NCC grounds in Maitland Place on April 19 before returning to Australia on the following day.
