Malaysian marketing mission to visit Sri Lanka

A marketing mission on construction and related services from Malaysia is due to visit Sri Lanka this week.

The mission organised by Malaysia's External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and facilitated by the Sri Lanka - Malaysia Business Council of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce arrives in Sri Lanka to explore business opportunities in the country.

The delegation will consist of representatives from firms engaged in plastic pipe-work systems, hydraulic fittings, manufacturing and exporting of PU architectural mouldings, manufacturing of aluminum foil reflective insulation, specialising in architecture, planning, urban design, interior design, heritage & conservation and landscape architecture.

The mission will include representatives from firms such as, Paling Industries Sdn Bhd, Value-Added Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd, Pesona Saferay Sdn Bhd, K Foil Insulation (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Arkitek Urbanisma Sdn Bhd.

The delegation will stay in the country from April 22-25 and hold B2B meetings with local counterparts.

The visiting business representatives will explore the possibilities of finding distributors, business partner and importers to promote their businesses.

The B2B meetings will be held on April 23 at the Hilton Hotel.
