Seminar on business security

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce with the Police Department will hold a seminar on 'Minimising risks to business through proper security measures'.

The move by the Chamber and the police comes following the spate of crimes which took place in recent times, targeting banks and financial institutions. The seminar chaired by DIG Ajith Wickremasekara will be held at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce auditorium on Friday at 3.00 pm.

The top Police official, will outline the security measures that companies should take to protect their businesses from burglary, theft, embezzlement and other crimes. Running a business means you learn to expect the unexpected.

However, when events that are totally out of the ordinary course of business occur and when you don't have a contingency plan in place to face them, the resulting damage to your business can be catastrophic.
