Tambuthegama gets a college for Technological Studies

The first national college of technological studies in Sri Lanka will be set up at Thambuttegama, Anuradhapura, this year said Education Minister Bandula Gunawardena at a meeting of the zonal education directors held in Kurunegala.

The government has its blueprint to establish 250 national colleges of technological studies within the next few years. President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardena had decided to set up first such National College at Tambuttegama was to felicitate student W.A. Namal Udara of Tambuttegama MMV.
